Accept BTC payments on the Bitcoin Lightning network via a Strike.me wallet

  1. Go to Settings in the Bitvolo backend and in the section Payment method - BTC on-chain and lightning via Strike.me click on the button to connect Bitvolo to your Strike.me account
  2. You need to allow Bitvolo access to view and add LN invoices so please always read carefully the permissions you're giving any app connected to Strike.me. Note that with these permissions you're not allowing Bitvolo access to your wallet. However, you need to allow Bitvolo to issue a new invoice so the payments from your customers can arrive in your Strike.me wallet (the funds are never deposited in the Bitvolo wallet, they always arrive directly in yours).
  3. In your website integration (e.g. Javascript/API/Planyo), use BTC.LN in the list of coins to be accepted.
Note that at this point on-chain BTC payments can be configured in Settings separately by indicating your own BTC onchain address. The Strike.me integration will allow you to accept only lightning network payments.
